Miranda Dubner is a writer, textile artist, and freelance editor. She has edited everything from romance novels to Virginia Woolf scholarship to Shakespearean sonnets based on pop songs. She is a staff copyeditor at the journal Renaissance Quarterly, and has edited both academic prose and commercial fiction extensively. Her writing has appeared in The Toast and Bright Wall/Dark Room. She writes about books, popular media and culture, action movies, and feelings at miranda.substack.com. The Spare is her first book.
Miranda lives in the Hudson Valley with her family.
